I understand your concern but again I ask. What other options are there available? how old is the lad? Dont speak with them (the bullies), it sets yourself up for their sh##ty behaviour - as honourable as it is - plus takes away you element of surprise (see last sentence) Speak with his parents - for anything you could do with their back! Speak to school! Speak with police! Speak with solicitor! If that doesnt work - dont get caught!!! Stuart

I am a bit like you Alex I think. If someone upsets my kids or bullies them I get very hot under the collar as it were. I hate the thought of being unable to get a hold of the bully and throttle him or her.
Some months ago I heard some boys mouthing off at my boy and without thinking I opened my mouth and threatened them. Of course it was only words and not really meant but the next thing was I had one of the boys fathers on my doorstep whereon I had to rapidly backpeddle!
As Stu & Tim advised try the various legal alternatives before doing or saying anything rash.

Cheers guys n' gal.
Right then, guess its sorted. I'll have a good ole' crack at these alternatives which seem much more logical. Thank you.
Re: last resort However despite dire warnings of getting into trouble with the police I'm sure you're all aware that these people MUST NOT get away with what they are doing. Irrespective of fear and backlash they MUST NOT be allowed to do these things and get away with it. Certainly not in my neighbourhood and certainly not with my friends/family.

Just a quick note to say 'Hi' to the recently-joined Maverick (and possibly to ask how Goose and Iceman are, while I'm at it -- or perhaps not).

Thanks - guys. Great to check out the forum - I need tips on stretching and home training as well so this is all invaluable stuff.
A- Iceman is doing well - but he's put on a bit of weight and is trying to pass himself off as a half-decent stage actor these days... The Goose is er... Where is the Goose? Wasn't he on ER for a while?

Where is the Goose? Wasn't he on ER for a while? He certainly was (well, the actor who played him, Anthony Edwards, was, anyway...). He played Dr. Mark Greene.

Ay up, how is everyone anyway? I've not been on for AGES!! I'm still pretty busy mind but it's good to be semi-back to normal. Has much changed? Save me sifting through 6 months of postage will you and someone give me the low-down. I heard Mark was in hospital. Is this true? Whats up? I'm gonna stick my beutifull mug up again because, well, I know you all miss it.

It is about time you got your Mug back here. I have been waiting several months for you to contact me. (NOT) You are worse than an ex girl friend to get a hold of. Well, anyway welcome back my friend. I hope you can sew that patch on you received.

Whats everyone up to these days?? I've been looking at propertys to rent/buy in areas where there are few gyms/ma clubs. I'm looking for somthing industrial/commercial/retail. Everythings frighteningly expensive.
I'm waiting to see docs about my knee. I can't bend it and its stopping me from running and bending. Can't do any ground work at all. Quite depressing but at least I can still punch and kick a bit.
Been working on my upper body and cardio mainly. Crossfit works. Bye

Anyone know where I can start going about getting a boxing coach cert? I've been searching the net for a while looking for related topics but found nothing.
