He couldn't bear the thought of adverts saying 'D*ck Head, Carpenter', so he changed his name -- to D*ck Fore-Head.

Hi, Djones, and welcome to the forum. You say in your formal introduction that you have an interest in 3D modelling. I was just curious as to whether you meant 3D modelling in the real world (e.g. clay, maquettes, sculpture etc) or (what I think you mean) 3D modelling on a computer (e.g. using a raytracing package)? I dabbled in the latter on the old Commodore Amiga A1200 computer using packages such as Imagine and Cinema 4D (I preferred the latter), but didn't get to use them much as I tended to be preoccupied with doing 2D animated cartoons. I had planned to use 3D packages to help do backgrounds for my cartoons but that never really happened. Antz

Hey Antz Sorry wasn't watching the forums much been really busy, But yeah i am interested in Computer 3D modeling and animating, Most of the animating is models that i have not personally created but i have created several 3D models esp for my final year project for university that can be found at my site www.defjones.co.ukCurrently i use 3D Studio Max 5 but i want to start learning ones like Maya and Poser. ok i need some orientation here ok here we go 1.i am an instructor of filipino martial arts and i noticed that most are envolved in tkd and etc.. is anyone else here envolved in fma?if not i guess i got the market cornered in this forum huh lol jks 2.how does one acsess the instructors area its password protected and obviously i didnt get that memo lol
