Hello all,
Im relatively new to all this computer stuff so i might need some help. I just found out about this site from a friend and thought the idea behind the whole concept is great.
Ive just moved from Kent (South East UK) to Westbury, Wiltshire.
I am interested in any seminars or information on any clubs in my area.
Ive been looking at some jujitsu and Karate classes in the area including:
Bath Jujitsu Club Gen Shin Kai Jujitsu Martial Arts Leisure UK and a new place in westbury called Kousi Shin Kai (or something like that).
Anyway all the places seem good, the accomodation at Martial arts leisure was very good but i turned up at the wrong time so no lessons were on! Gen Shin Kai seems too safety concious.
are there any other martial artists in my area?
Thanks.

i can say, without doubt, avoid "martial arts leisure". it is a long story, which will bore the pants off you!
however, as you are in westbury why not pop to jaguar gym on meadow lane, where you will find me, a 5th dan (with properly registered and recognised grades!) on a monday and friday - seniors 8pm-930pm.
cheers!

What do you teach Andy?

come to my class in westbury and i will tell you face to face.... ok? or give me your email address and i'll email over a document that explains. i teach reikijutsu- for details see www.reikijutsukai.org.uki will reiterate that my qualifications and experience are ratified by proper governing bodies, such as the ekgb. wherever you finally go to train, ensure the insructors who teach you are legit with regard to their grades. unfortunately there are a number of suspect instructors in the area who claim grades they shouldn't have or haven't earnt. they give the martial arts a bad name and put the public in danger because the stuff they teach is dangerous and uninsured.
