If you could have one wish at Christmas that would come true, what would it be?
And your not allowed to say 'World Peace' or 'End hunger in the world` or anything to global!
Perhaps a smaller, personal wish!
Antz happy post made me think of this, just thought it may spark some interesting/heart felt responses

wealth and health to everyone......... Not particularly global, eh? (!) That'd be a wonderful dream to wake up to, especially as I am seriously thinking about spending an overseas holiday in the fragrant harbour itself: Hong Kong (another bit of Cantonese knowledge for Oli there; Hong Kong is based on the Cantonese words 'Heung(hf) Gong(mr)', which translate to 'fragrant harbour'). Well, with an exchange rate at approximately UK£1 to HK$15, you can pick up some amazing bargains. Even budget accommodation can cost as little as HK$300-550 (about UK£20-37); even if you take into account that you add 10% service charge and 3% government tax that's still amazing. While I was there I'd also endeavour to visit nearby Macau -- of course, one of the things I'd look at there is the façade of St. Paul's Church (I say 'façade' because that's literally all that's left of it! A typhoon-driven fire burned the rest of it down in 1835). Another rather amusing reason for visiting our former colony of Hong Kong would be to see if I could find some movie locations (many are probably gone but I know that The Schooner Pub from Tiger On The Beat is still there, as is the Red Pepper Restaurant featured in Game Of Death, to give just two examples). That could be a great experience!

One wish is that the do-gooder government prats actually get a sense of perspective and do something about the nanny-state and stop introducing stupid laws that are completely unreasonable and/or unenforceable, because it really is getting out of hand.
Yes, go back to the ways of the good ol' days when a person falling over a box they didn't see because they weren't looking where they were going was their fault and nobody else's.
Back to a time where children knew and respected their boundaries, respected adults and didn't constantly abuse them or use obscene language towards them.
Back to a time when Christmas was a time for parents and their children to have a great time together and not focus so much on the presents (especially the 'main' presents); then parents wouldn't be under so much pressure to work their butts off just to get their ungrateful kids their PlayStations or expensive mobile phones [or 'cellphones' in other countries].

i wish that people would have more motivation to train, i wish that people would embrace honorable ways more, i wish that people would stop taking and start giving.
finally i wish that i find the power to be an example to others

Stuart, My one small wish for christmas is to replace my wife's car that by oldest daugther crashed. This way I can sleep in in the mornings. Tim hehe your too kind Tim - I'd be making her put forward a large contribution to said car One xmas wish? To be debt free, and to find a job I truely enjoy early in the new yr. Less realistic wish (although not much less given how unlikely the above is). Waking up and finding a Skyline GTR r33 V-spec in the driveway from Santa.

My one wish at Christmas is to be able to spend more quality time with my family. I'm happy to report that I will get it for a few days at the end of this year. :-)

One wish.........hmmmmm
My wishes came true 14 years ago and then again 9 years ago and once more 7 years ago.
Today I am just thankful... Thankful everyday for the blessing of a loving wife and two beautiful daughters.
One wish for others...
Love Living.......Live for Loving........always be thankful.

I would like to add to my list,
I wish that everyone in IAOMAS would do a spontaneous random act of kindness this week. Regardless of the circumstances. It won't get you in to heaven, but it can't hurt. This way you will all get part of your wish for peace on earth and good will to mankind. ( maybe a little gobal)

( maybe a little gobal) Tim tim, i make it my mission to do that at least 5 times a week, it's so liberating creating abundance. i've given away things that have been trown in my lap, it seems that if you don't hold on to things, and give . you get more trown at you.......what a great system, receiving by giving
