I have a schedule which should be carried out by triplets. Time is the fleeting resource lately, and I find that I enjoy spending it with live people face-to-face even more than virtually over the internet. I've gotten out more and interacted with others lately, and my time on the Internet has thusly suffered. I work full-time, go to a University full-time, teach Chinese Kung Fu part-time, and keep the IAOMAS database (always several e-mails behind though) updated on top of all of that. It doesn't often leave enough time for sleep - let alone posting. However, rest assured that I excitedly share with others as often as possible how much I enjoy sharing information and viewpoints with others all over the world via the IAOMAS forums from time to time. I have invited many instructors to join, but have yet to successfully get one to do it. I'm working on it.
I think an alliance is our goal here, not just regular chatting.

It just so happens that I am on my hols and so this post! I am extremely busy between my work which is virtually 24/7, my family of wife, 5 kids, dog and cat, and running my Judo club and finding time to train.
IAOMAS is an important body there is no doubt about that and I am intererested in what you are trying to do. Nevertheless, it does come further down my list of priorities than it may with others.
A practical reason is simply that I dont have the patience much of the time to be messing around with passwords. For instance I just tried to access the instructors forum but was shut out. I filled out the personal introduction info as requested and returned to the instructors forum. Guess what? I was still shut out!
Surely the fact that I am an IAOMAS member, a national founder and all round decent chap should let me into any of the forums?
I promise to try and post occasionally.
Ray

Can I ask you, as a 16 year old, what are your plans within martial arts? Stuart

Name is Chris Davies 6th dan and to be honest I seem to be busy most of the time and only get to come back every now and again. I am also something of a dyed in the wool traditionalist which most people dont seem to do much of these days.

Hey, My reasons for not posting that much are simple, sometimes I just dont know what to write. Another reason is due to the fact that I am not a black belt. Where there is an abundance of highly esteemed indivduals with a wealth of knowledge on this forum, (and thank you kindly those who have given me advice!) , I am not , and will only post about things I have a knowledge of , rather then specualte Apologies , sometimes younjust have to know what you are talking about. With regard to the student forum, i have ummmmmm forgotten the password!! Lynz Rayners Lane tkd
