Hello everyone!
Bill's Image Resizer is a program that allows you to batch resize images through a graphical windows explorer-style interface. It allows you to save profiles of the types of image resizing you want to do, so they are easy to repeat.
I have been working on this program for quite sometime and would appreciate any feedback people have. Since it is free and beta software, please do not use this software on critical data. I can take no responsibility for any damage or loss of data.
Currently, the program will take most image formats and output in Bitmap, JPEG, PNG or GIF.
I should mention the program makes visually high quality resizes, not per pixel identical resizes.
If you are willing and able, please download this program and try it out. You would be doing me a big favour and you might get some use out of it!
Email me if you would like a copy of the file or download it from here: www.filefactory.com/file/d34bbc/. You need to navigate through several screens and scroll down through ads though.
Any comments, questions or suggestions please post them to this thread or email me at wmioch@hotmail.com. You guys are getting the very first public release of this so all feedback is very appreciated.
Best Regards,
Bill Mioch
PS: It's possible you may need to download and install the .NET v2.0 Framework. It can be downloaded here: www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en
Unfortunately, it's a bigger download than my program.
.NET v2.0 - ~22 MB
Bill's Image Resizer - ~300KB
Please let me know and if this becomes a problem for many people I will try and reduce the dependency to .NET v1.x
