The General Board is where you stick any post which you don't think belongs to any of our other forums. Please make a conscious effort to fit your post to other threads before you post here.
Threads that can be started here are discuss personal things, non martial arts issues, and information that might be the start of a new forum topic.
When you do post here, please make sure your title is descriptive. This allows users to filter through posts and decide what you're on about.

Dear Friends,
Maintaining the quality of this forum means making sure that threads keep to the topic they start out with. Also responses should maintain the 'spirit' of the discussion; serious discussions warrant serious responses, and light-hearted ones get casual responses.
Main idea: Please keep to the topic of the thread.
We are of course allowed to digress and humour is great, but moderators will jump on a post if we start seeing more than a few off-topic responses.
The more 'important' the thread is to the issue of martial arts, or the more significant the post is to the IAOMAS, the more vigilant we will be. For instance, 'Nomination of the IAOMAS for the Molum Combat Honor Society' (a thread started by Tim White which nominates IAOMAS as a nominee for a highly significant award from his organization) will mean any off-topic or off-colour posts will be removed sooner than 'Single or Double' which talks about Oli's love life.
Please help us maintain a good balance in the forum.
Regards,
Moderator.au
