From mooching around on the net and looking at different Martial Arts Galleries I've noticed the vast array of Organisation/Association/Club/Academy badges. I don't know why, but I'm fascinated by badges, I love'em (I'm still a big kid! ;D ).
I have noticed that our American friends generally tend to wear more badges on their uniforms than us on this side of the pond, which is interesting.
Out of interest, what badges do you wear on your uniforms and where are they displayed?
Take care,
Garth.

Garth,
I only wear selected patches/badges. I wear, my club patch Molum Combat Arts on my left chest, I wear my Professional Karate Patch on the left sleeve with my certified Ref Patch, and I wear my MLCA patch on the right sleeve.
Good question. I like patches too.

I don't wear anything on my white gi. I thought about getting the kanji for my school embroidered on my uniform, but haven't got around to do that in more than 9 months.
On my old blue gi I've got my old patch from a non-existent TKD/Karate school in the Southwest on my left side, molum honorary patch on the left shoulder. I used to have singapore and US flags on both shoulders, but decided that enough was enough ... and removed them.

to date we have the Jung Shin Do Korean (kanji) lettering on the left chest over our heart so to speak and on the right chest we have the IAOMAS badge embroidered, on the right shoulder is the Canadian flag and on the left is either your name or an instructor patch or assisstant instructor something of that nature. Canucks tend to like their patches on the uniforms as well, must stem from our illustrious military background:)

We have the ITF logo embroidered on our uniforms, which I like as it represents our style (to a point) rather than the ITF Org - left chest
Rayners Lane Badge - right chest
IAOMAS logo - right arm (worn only by those who have participated in IAOMAS stuff like on this forum, a seminar, visited a club etc.)

We dont have any badges on our uniforms, however, I do wear a gukgi and a union jack on mine just from my competition days, But I have a few new suits now with nothing on I was thinking of getting some badges for my club though but am not 100% decided yet on what to have. The IAOMAS ones are quite nice .

I wear the World Hapkido Federation patch over my left chest because it is my home federation. I also wear another association patch; Shiho Karano Jujutsu and The Christian Black belt Assoc. No American or korean flags though. Really don't have a reason.

No patches. Only the IAOMAS patch which our full time instructors wear. I like the idea you have Stu - giving a patch to those who participate at an IAOMAS school. I will start implementing that right away.
