I love my bike If I had the money I would buy a nice big cruiser or tourer. I currently have a 94 CB750. A sensible machine but yet pokey enough for a born again biker. Took a nice 3 day ride along the west coast of Ireland a few weeks back with a pal. Galway, Connemara, the Balina music festival and on in into Donegal. Brilliant! Ray

I occationally have a bit of fun with a Ducati 996 (2003). Not mine though Also really enjoyed a brief spin on a Honda CBR954. As for Harleys... bleerk... most cars can outrun them. Noisy fart boxes Oh, if anyones interested I've got a short video clip of a hayabusa accelerating... front wheels lift off the ground from 60mph to around 150mph (except for a gear change when it lowers for a split second lol) and then going on to 220mph.

Trav, I use to think that until I rode my mates, a great cruising bike. If I want to scare myself I ride my Katana. Yep. Sorry Glen - re read what I wrote and it sounded a bit harsh I guess I'm biased because so many people that know NOTHING about bikes go on about how good harleys are while have no idea about viable alternatives. I think they are just a bit to "trendy" for me lol Then again, I'm the same with Cars... used to like WRX's 10 years ago, and had several friends lucky enough to own them. At the time they were sleepers. Now every man and his dog knows about them.. half the Dinasour V8 brigade have switched to them, and they're not quite as special anymore.... so I'm over the whole thing now though (and have been for some time).

I dream about having a bike. Does that count? I had a KX 250 when I was a wee sprog and nearly died on it too. Well, I was coming off it when I nearly died but let's not get technical.
When I pass my advanced drivers my motorbike is NEXT!

I havn't really got much to compare it to to be honest. Motorbikes guys, think motorbikes. I can see those little cogs whirring, seeking out innuendo's wherever they might hide. I do recall that it *was* like snot off a stick but a bi*h to start.

Started of with my trusty Honda 50 Moped (Just for travelling to work ;D), followed by a Honda H100 much more fun getting to work. Finally after seperating from my first wife I bought my Suzuki GSX600F, definately more fun 'Flying' to work My garage was pulled down! RAF quarters! needed space, garages had to go, bike out in cold! Seized up totally while I was away onboard HMS Invincible! Now I sit and wait, two years until I leave the forces, two years to a decent payoff after 23 long (but fun ) years, a new bike? you bet ;D
