What I like about this photo is that everyone is smiling. You don't often see that in martial arts shots. This group is made of two IAOMAS member schools here in Western Australia. :-) Yes, we're having a good time. Colin

Colin, Your IAOMAS photo looks nothing like the seminar photo. What happened, did you get a haircut or something. ... Smiles Tim

Hey Everyone Linking in with two threads (video clips & Photo Album) I know what everyone means about being vertically challenged, I am no giant myself at about 5ft 9in - 5ft 10in (depending on how much time i spend on "the rack" each day ) But I do make things worse for myself, my senior student/ instructor who is the chap you see getting slapped sideways in virtually every video clip... is about 6ft 4-5in !!! (maybe that is why i keep beating him up, but dont accuse me of being height-ist) Sorry I can't figure out how to put a picture into the message, I guess you put a link to it's location on your own site or something, but my brother made our site as I am a bit of a techno-retard, so I will have to ask him.. In mean time we have various pics on the site I will also be putting some more video clips on the site soon, including ones of the instructors and students, Matt (the tall guy) is actually pretty good, will be nice for people to see him hit something other than the ground.. p.s Dave, Congrats for your daughters promotion, is she kicking your ass yet? Marc

short people are scary, the have a vengance against tall people aka strechies!
we have our compactness...our palm strikes that are difficult to defend against...we have a lateral movement, our triangular movements that walk into your defence...
but we have to deal with long limbs flying towards our head all the time....owwww how it urinees me off:D

Full empathy with ya Ol. I find it almost painfull to hit short people who know what their doing. Bobbing and weaving and moving out of the way all over the place.
I don't like just using my reach I feel like I'm cheating.
Hey Colin. It's suprising how much of a difference it makes with everyone being so happy like that. Nice head by the way.
