I thought I'd share a couple of memorable shots from the video of my recent training trip to Perth... Here is a picture of me demonstrating my Face-to-Fist style for Colin. I also taught it to the camera (while I make sure my face is still where it's meant to be)

My Karate Camp experience in Independence Missouri This is a picture of Sensei Miguel, my husband, and I after I had been beaten around as a padded monster. Notice how stained the legs of my Gi are?? Here I am getting the protection being placed onto me. That helmet weighed over 40 pounds. I was pretty dizzy once that weight was lifted off of my head.
